At Wastigo, we value our customers and strive to ensure complete satisfaction with our waste collection services. We understand that circumstances may change, and therefore, we have established a fair and transparent refund policy. Please read the following terms carefully before purchasing or scheduling a package.
- Refunds for Prepaid Packages
Customers who purchase a package in advance may request a full refund up to 2 days before the scheduled effective start date of the package.
This allows us to allocate resources effectively and ensures that riders and operations are scheduled without interruption.
Requests received within 48 hours of the start date will not be eligible for a package refund, as operational planning would have already been completed.
- Refunds for Per-Day Pickups
Customers scheduling a one-time or per-day pickup may cancel and request a refund at least 1 day prior to the scheduled pickup date.
Refund requests received on the same day of pickup will not be honored, as riders are dispatched and costs are incurred.
- Processing of Refunds
Once your refund request has been approved, the amount will be credited back to the original payment method used during purchase (Razorpay or PayPal).
Please allow 7 to 10 U.S. business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider’s processing times.
- Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued for missed pickups if the customer fails to keep the waste ready at the designated time.
Refunds will not apply if hazardous, illegal, or non-compliant waste is presented and rejected by the collector.
Same-day cancellations are strictly non-refundable.
- Special Considerations
In rare situations, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or force majeure events that affect service delivery, Wastigo may consider refunds or credits on a case-by-case basis.
